Widow's Peak by ~M.O.B~Warrior

This is my first try at doing a mission . It is a circuit with a little mission on the side you will need to do to open the now closed Widow's Peak trail . The trail was closed because too many people rolled their rigs on it . But 1 guy still knows how to get in . Do him a few favors and he will open it for you . The trail is not real hard and I made it with a class 1 blazer . Thanx to Max Air , Balthazer , Chachose , and the whole RTMAC beta team . I learned a lot about scripts from working with these talented guys . Slow down a little going past Mal's bar , the Doobie Brothers are playing there (a loop I made for Lake Shore Drive a long time ago , Without You from the Doobie Brothers) .

The mission starts by finding 4 secrets (look for the blue coolers) . They are all close to the track so they are easy to find . You will then be given instructions . From there it's just a few favors . When you reach a destination , try to read the message quickly because it will only come up once . Track was podzipped so unmounting any stock tracks may give you an error . It saved about 5.5 megs on the final pod size .

Credits :

The terrain file was made with Teragen then tweaked a little in the editor . The ground textures are 100% custom done be me using Winterkill's tutorial hosted at Malibu 350's site and Paint Shop Pro 7 . A very good tut by these guys and a big THANX to them . A few seams on the 45* sections , but it is the best I could do . I'll thank TRI for the game and KC Vale for giving us a great place to host our files and a cool hangout here . Thanx to Tyler Wysocki for the custom wav link , where I got the horse sound and breaking glass for checkpoints .

Scratch models :

I made many models for this track using Zmodeler . Thanx to Oleg for bringing us this great editor .

Here is the list : mail pouch barn , big red barn , blue farm tractor , small shed in farmyard , engine crane , bay windowed building , storage shed by trailers , 3 campers , red schoolhouse (with fence , same texture) , old saloon (white fence around farm with same texture) , Indian motorcycle from my Ram quad project , firehall , gas station , gas pumps , coke machine , 7up cooler , animated girl on swing in schoolyard (girl is the real Laura Croft model from a Tomb Raider site retextured by me , animation done with Smurf by Phineus) , and some of my scratch built trucks converted to track props .

Stoneys beer bottle checkpoint marker :

Stoneys is a beer made at a tiny brewery about 10 miles from my house in Smithon PA . It was once "Jones" brewery , although it has been sold now . It was founded by the family of Shirley Jones who was born in Smithon .

All others from TRI

The scratch models I made will be put on my website (http://www.angelfire.com/ut2/mob_warrior/) for download . If they are not in Evo1 format here , the ones on the website will be in act/raw Evo1 format so they can be used for either game .

As always , you may use any of these models or textures providing proper credit is given . To "forget" where you got a model or who made it is understandable , but please don't "take" credit for any of my stuff because I have a lot of hard work and hours tied up in making this stuff ;0) !!

Thanx for your download and I hope you have as much fun with this track as I have !!
