Well, sooner than I expected I finnished a new track.

It uses the same base textures as gollypop, but why not. They were allright IMO...

They are available for download at http://www.karf.net/mtmg if you want to use them.

all you see is custom and almost everything is by me so here's a (very short) list
of stuff I borrowed.

FIRST the trees, they are made by ZooN and still the best arround Thanks to him.

SECOND, the bin model of the TGV is by Sir James called "the american flyer". I remapped it
to the original french version. Therefor I will have to ask you not to use this
train in any of your tracks.

THIRD, the backdrop provided by is Sir James

Thanks also to WINTERKILL (mayor of Winterville;-) for hosting this track
and being an excelent tester.

As for the other Bin's and textures, you may only use those I put on the MTMG site, and
only if you give me credit for it in the readme file.

RONDAT SPEEDWAY is a tribute to Patrick Rondat for beeing such a nice guy and the best
guitar player in the whole wide world (according to joe satriani) visit his website at:

and see/hear him play with my own band on

Have fun!

PS, also thanks for the guy who wrote this. Are you mental MC? ;-))))))))))))

This is a beautifully rendered compact track. The rock/grass textures look great. Full
of custom models, this is a very "busy" layout, full of nicely edited curves and turns.
OOPS;-) seems to have packed a great deal into a relatively small area. The spinning globe
and checkpoint markers are nice touches, as is the repainted Sir James' train. Imaginitive
use of custom .bins creates a track that crosses itself on 3 different levels and the train
runs along a track yet ANOTHER level above that!

I have only raced against the computer trucks at the time of writing and found them fairly
easy to beat. I found it difficult to actually get up much speed because of the compact
nature of the course. I'd say this track would best be described as a kind of outdoor
arena.Top marks for the textures, models and smoothness of the road. If any improvement
could be made I'd say I would like to see a bigger track with a few more straight sections.
Also (in my humble opinion) the other thing that would have made this track "complete"
would be a sound file of Patrick Rondat's music. Maybe OOPS;-) could persuade Patrick to
donate a few .wavs for his next track ;o)

Overall, this is one of the best rendered tracks I've had the pleasure to download and
play. I'd rank it alongside Zoon's and Alpine's for quality and attention to detail.
If there was a rating sytem here I would class this track as "Recommended download".

Best wishes
EmceeMart

Well, I don't see PR for the next few months so that would take a long time before I can
release it but you can here him play along with us at the above URL, goto Chronologie two
and you can hear him play on the guitar;-)
